Batik is a popular art medium and methodology for creating design in Southeast Asia, known for its vibrant colours and stunning designs, created by repeatedly applying wax to the material, dyeing it then removing the wax.

Royal Selangor's Batik collection features three common batik patterns, Parang, Ceplok and Nitik. Typically Malaysian, the fusion of batik prints and pewter makes great mementoes for visitors and business gifts for companies.
