Greek mythology tells of goddess Charybdis, transformed as punishment into a monstrous whirlpool that swallows ships whole. Unlike the unfortunate goddess, the vortex-like Cascade funnel drags no vessels under but instead practises deceit; wine spirals down the exterior in candy cane fashion rather than issuing from the faux opening at the funnel’s tip.

A sieve to catch any lees or cork fragments is included.
