A limited edition of 888 individually numbered pieces worldwide.
Sweeping up from a small footprint to a wide body with full rounded shoulders and a short narrow opening, the elegant form of a wine vessel gained new popularity from the Song dynasty (960 – 1279) as the elegant meiping (literally ‘plum vase’), found perfect for the display of a single branch of flowering plum blossoms.
On the vase’s front, a sparkling dragonfly rests on the blossoming lotus, symbol of nobility, purity and liberation from worldly worries. On its reverse, a lotus bud awaits.
A pewter plate for personalisation is supplied with this item, which can be affixed to the included stand.
This item comes in a wooden gift box.
