To celebrate 140 years of Royal Selangor, seven store windows in Kuala Lumpur have been transformed into a dynamic street-art mural with each stop unveiling a different part of our story.
Created by Malaysian graffiti artist Abdulrashade, this travelling art trail connects our past, present and future in a way that’s bold, unexpected, and full of character.

Meet the Artist: Abdulrashade
Abdulrashade is a contemporary graffiti artist based in Kuala Lumpur. Known for his wildstyle lettering, abstract compositions, and bold use of colour, he often weaves in elements of Nusantara culture, floral motifs, wildlife, and local folklore.
A member of the Eightyfourcube Collective since 2003, his work has been featured regionally and internationally, including large-scale murals in Dubai. His art brings attention to local issues too, especially endangered species like the orangutan and Malayan tiger.
For Royal Selangor’s 140th anniversary, Abdulrashade reimagines Royal Selangor’s journey through his signature lens, infusing history with street energy in a mural that celebrates movement, identity, and imagination.
