The largest of the world’s four tapir species, the endangered Malayan tapir Tapirus indicus is the only one found in Asia, the remaining three being Central and South American residents. Our palm-sized sculpture’s bright polish saddle pops against an ink-black body, mimicking the animal’s distinctive colouring, effectively camouflaging the nocturnal tapir under moonlight. In brilliant finish pewter and composite resin.
