The chrysanthemum is much esteemed in the cultures of the Far East, not only for the plant’s diverse uses but also as a symbol of longevity. It holds special significance in Japan, from where we take our inspiration. More than 150 mon or emblems feature it as a central design element, including that of the Japanese Imperial family.
