A near identical facsimile, this pewter bowl showcases the signature features of the Zhonghua minguo period (1912 - 1949) porcelain original. A 24K gilded chrysanthemum rim crowns sculpted representations of a phoenix in flight on one side of the exterior, and a showy spray of peony blossoms on the other, the combination of phoenix and peony symbolising prosperity and honour. A single peony in full bloom occupies the bowl’s interior.
This bowl includes a walnut-stained nyatoh display stand.
Included is a H2cm x 8cm landscape orientation engraving plate for personalisation.
