Buddhism’s Eight Auspicious Emblems, comprising the Wheel of Law, endless knot, a pair of fish, lidded jar, lotus blossom, canopy, parasol and conch shell, and interspersed with lotus blossoms, surround an inner border lush with peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and plum blossom, the Flowers of the Four Seasons.
