An inquisitive juvenile Malayan tiger Panthera tigris tigris observes the world around it. Rendered in bright finish pewter, its distinctive stripes borrow from East Malaysia’s unique tattoo design tradition. While this delightful cub won’t add to the tiger’s severely depleted numbers in the wild, it is hoped that it will focus some attention on the critically-endangered species’ precarious situation.
