Ghim Ong's dramatic 1/8 scale pewter sculpture captures the Dark Phoenix as it manifests itself in Jean. Arising from flames spreading into distinctive wings, she embraces the god-like powers the Phoenix Force entity bestows.

Starting out as a graphic designer, Ghim’s strong interest in 3D sculpting led to a career at Comicave Studios, the renowned Singapore-based producer of high end collectibles, where he worked on styling and sculpting Marvel, DC and Disney properties.
